A Personal Journey in Dentistry and Technology

My wife, Jenna, has been a practicing dentist for 13 years, and for the past 7 years, we’ve owned our dental practice together. Meanwhile, I’ve spent over 20 years as a website developer, including five years working for a global healthcare enterprise. That experience taught me a lot about building enterprise-level software, ensuring compliance with regulations like HIPAA, and delivering scalable, secure solutions. But it also revealed the frustrating side of healthcare technology—overpriced, overcomplicated systems that often overpromised and underdelivered.

We experienced this firsthand as dental practice owners. Every time we looked for new software or services to support our practice, we encountered the same issues:
